Energy Management and Efficiency: The Next Big Thing
Thirty-eight years after the first reference to the “greenhouse effect” in The New York Times and thirty years after then President Jimmy Carter declared energy conservation “the moral equivalent of war”, increasing greenhouse gases, growing populations and an escalating global thirst for energy are creating economic, social and environmental pressures on scarce energy resources. The issue now has mindshare, and Al Gore's Nobel Prize certainly says that the topic has ‘arrived’.

CES Sizzles for Inventures Clients
The 2007 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas started the year with a splash for several of our technology association clients. Amidst the glitz and big bucks displays, HomePlug, MoCA, WiMedia and ZigBee held their own on a much smaller scale, and the Mobile DTV Alliance and SD Card Association hosted off-site events, demos or meetings to take advantage of the venue.
