San Ramon, Calif., January, 2009 - Global Inventures, Inc. announced that Lory Yeakle has joined the company as vice president of Operations and Client Services. As department head, she is responsible for managing IT, membership management, financials, certification programs and customer services across all client associations. Yeakle will report to CEO and founder of Inventures, Deepak Kamlani.

Yeakle spent 13 years at Visa International as a Sr. Vice President where she managed a broad range of global business and product development areas that included: establishing a global customer support division, developing and providing member support for B2B and e-commerce payment solutions, growing acceptance of Visa payment technologies through strategic merchant partnerships, and designing/developing Visa’s intranet to enable cross company sharing of information. She holds a patent for the development of an electronic B2B payment solution to support invoice driven payments.
Before joining Visa in 1995, she spent 17 years at IBM developing software systems, standards and applications, working hand in hand with the global sales team to promote the value and capability of these solutions to consumers and corporations.
Yeakle holds a bachelors degree in Computer Science from University of Florida.
