San Ramon, Calif., May 19, 2010 – Global Inventures, Inc., a recognized leader in providing incubation, structuring, and operational services to collaborative communities, recently announced they will be managing the Unified Communications Interoperability Forum (UCIF), an alliance dedicated to enabling standards-based, inter-vendor unified communications (UC) interoperability.
The UCIF is an open forum of technology leaders that will work to manage one of the biggest challenges to the growth of the unified communications market i.e., lack of interoperability. This lack of interoperability has been a huge obstacle, making it difficult for customers to leverage existing systems and products. UCIF certified products will reduce implementation complexity and risk, resulting in world-wide market growth and a consistent high-value user experience. Additionally, the Forum will be instrumental in improving the interoperability of existing protocols and will work to develop liaisons with existing standards development organizations.
